Step in to the spacious open plan living space on the ground floor which forms the hub of the house. Here you can settle in front of the wood burning stove with a good book, catch up over a glass of wine or cook for fun after a day at the beach.The first floor plays host to two immaculate bedrooms, each with super king size beds, one of which can be presented as a twin on request. There are also two en-suite shower rooms, each with rain shower, making this a great option for two couples, families or friends to share. High quality furnishings, solid wooden floors, plantation blinds and beautiful accessories come together to create a stylish yet relaxed feel throughout.
The decked courtyard garden beside the property is a sheltered and private hideaway adorned with palms and exotics. Beyond this is a garden with lawn where you can chill out on the super comfy low level table and chairs in the sunshine or light the barbecue and the fire pit and settle in for the evening.A secure storage room provides a board rack with space for bikes, wetsuits, wellies and walking boots.
Friendly and welcoming, St Agnes is a coastal village with a difference. This is no holiday ghost town but a thriving local community that welcomes visitors!2 Rocks is set back off the main street through the village where you will find independant shops including galleries, delicatessans, butchers, bakeries, greengrocers and a chemist. There are cafés, pubs and restaurants to suit every occasion and budget from the award winning Cornish Pizza Company to bistros serving fresh local lobster. The beach at Trevaunance Cove is just a ten minute downhill walk. A pretty sandy cove it is lifeguarded in the summer months and is home to a surf school but more importantly it is also home to the Driftwood Spars, a fabulous pub and restaurant with a micro brewery! There really is little need to venture further afield but if you do feel the need you can explore the beaches and towns of the north coast including St Ives, Perranporth, Porthtowan and Padstow. There is a bus stop within 400m of the house linking to the other coastal towns for those who wish to walk the coast path one way! For weekenders, Newquay aiport is only 16 miles from St Agnes with daily flights.
