Inside Story

The Old Forge has a traditional layout with ground floor comprising a super spacious sitting room with wood burning stove, a fabulous dining room and a kitchen fit for a king with central island for more informal meals. The house offers flexible sleeping arrangements on the first floor. There are two master bedrooms with king size beds and en-suite shower rooms. (you will have to fight for the one with a sea view though). For families the second bedroom can be presented as a twin if requested. The third bedroom is smaller but still suitable for adults or children. If you haven’t had enough of the water outside in the hot tub, the bathroom has a huge corner bath too and separate shower!

Outdoor Living

South facing, the garden is fully enclosed with large patio for alfresco dining and lawn for the all-important lazing around after lunch. The hot tub is only paces from the front door in a sheltered corner of the garden.

Out and About

The Old Forge is under a mile from St Just, the most westerly town in England. Here you will find good pubs, cafes, delicatessen, butcher and baker as well as several art galleries, including Kurt Jackson's Jackson Foundation. The town is very friendly and will give you a real taste of life in West Cornwall.

There are sandy beaches at Sennen Cove and its quieter neighbour Gwynver or head on around past Land's End to Porthcurno for even more dreamy turquoise waters and white sands. St Ives and Penzance are also within easy driving distance offering shopping, cafes, restaurants and galleries galore.
Nearby gastro pubs for foodies include The Gurnard’s Head at Zennor, The Old Coastguard at Mousehole as well as The Beach Restaurant at Sennen.
