Beautifully styled, the interiors at Trehaddle Cottages are pure perfection. In the main cottage you can gather around the wood burning stove in the serene sitting room and dine at the chunky oak table in the adjacent kitchen diner.A master bedroom with large en-suite shower room is approached via one stair whilst two more pretty bedrooms, a double and a twin are accessed via a second stair together with a family bathroom. The house and annex sit aside the courtyard garden. This south facing suntrap is sheltered and private and the perfect place to while away the hours with a good book. With dining table for 10, sofa style coffee set and barbecue it is well equipped. Sub-tropical plantings, trees and shrubs surround the courtyard and there is a little lawn to the side as well.
Trehaddle Cottages sit in the hamlet of Cusgarne, a peaceful lush, green spot not far from the south coast of Cornwall. Local villages Frogpool and Perranwell both have pubs and the latter also has a post office and stores. Truro is only a few miles away though with supermarkets, restaurants and shops galore.If boating appeals then head for the nearby waterways of the stunning The Carrick Roads. You can hire kayaks or motor boats from Loe Beach Watersports at Feock or perhaps try your hand at sailing, paddle boarding or windsurfing! The coast to coast trail passes very close by so why not hire bikes from Bissoe and enjoy a day of exploring the local area. The trail finished at Devoran, a pretty village where the Carnon River and Restronguet Creek meet. If the beach calls then head for Falmouth, Porthtowan or Gwithian, all of which are within 30 minutes’ drive.
